奈良井木曽の大橋について
平成3年(1991)に奈良井川に架けられた太鼓型の橋は、樹齢300年以上の天然木を使った贅沢な総檜造り。橋脚を持たない木製の橋としては日本有数の大きさを誇り、長さ33m、幅6.5m、水面からの高さは7mもある。
4月上旬～11月上旬の日没後はライトアップされ、夜の闇に浮かび上がる姿も幻想的で美しい。
About Narai Kiso-No-Ohashi Bridge
This arch-shaped bridge crossing the Narai-gawa River was built in 1991, and is extravagantly made of natural wood of more than 300 years.It is also famous as a bridge without piers in Japan, and it is 33m long, 6.5m wide and 7m hight from the river.
The bridge is lit up from the beginning of April to the beginning of November.
